Welcome back to the We Love Weekends WOW Linky! In the US we celebrate Thanksgiving next week, so have a great holiday if you're in the states, and if not, then just have a great day in general! Here are some of my faves from last week:
The Educators' Spin On It wrote about how to take a texture walk with preschoolers - any why it's important. Who said sensory play could only be in a bin?!
This right here is the most creative countdown-to-Christmas idea I've seen. Amy at The Connection We Share describes an "elf" who leaves a suggestion for an activity each morning in December, along with a paper bag with needed supplies. Some of the activities are growing candy canes and eating reindeer poop! Even the post is creative (written by Jingles the Elf!)
Taming the Goblin wrote about answering kids (seemingly endless) questions. She notes that it matters even how you answer the endless "whys" - I'll let her tell you why!
The Keeper of the Cheerios made a Minnie Mouse Learning Clock, because learning is more fun when Minnie is involved (or so it seems!) (And if you get time, check out the rest of her blog while you're there. I just "discovered" it and she has a bunch of great ideas!
