I would love to be able to take the credit for coming up with this, but it was the creative minds behind Sugar Aunts that deserve the props. This is a cute turkey craft that is perfect as a napkin ring too!

The hardest part was punching the holes through the toilet paper roll. I guess I never realized how thick these things are! So I did that part, while Kay was able to help with the rest. This is a fun way to add in some fine motor practice: squeezing the glue, pushing in the pipe cleaners for feathers, all great for little hand muscles!
Truth be told, I ended up finishing these by myself. Kay got interested in cutting the pipe cleaners and forgot all about toilet paper roll turkeys! But I didn't mind. These are going to look adorable around our house this season (or on the Thanksgiving table is we use them for the napkin rings!)
They would make an awesome napkin holder for the dinner table - or just an adorable craft to keep little hands out of trouble while they get their creativity on!
