For something that took all of 10 minutes to put together, this one is just too much fun - especially for kids who like marble runs. I first saw it on another blog as a ramp for matchbox cars but I can't find the original post to share. (If it's you, let me know so I can give you credit - this idea rocks!)
What you need:
- Shoe box
- piece of cardboard (I used one side of a cereal box)
- pool noodle
I cut the cereal box to fit over the shoe box, making sure there was an decline in the middle, and then taped it in place. Really, that's all there was to it. We have our pool noodle marble run always ready to roll and Kay loved sending the marbles down the pool noodle and watching them shoot off the ramp.
She soon figured to try to get the marbles into cardboard boxes for an extra challenge. (Can you tell we just have a stockpile of shoe boxes in our house. Just call me Mrs. Can't Throw Anything Away!)
