Keeping with our reusing magazines theme for Project: Recycle & Create, we made some collages (which is the first thing I think of when it comes to reusing magazines!).
I dug out some old magazines and scissors and thought we'd have a nice time looking for pictures to put on her collage. But I may have made a mistake in mentioning that some people just rip paper to make a collage with. Kay thought that was just the greatest thing - ripping paper, woo-hoo! So she proceeded to tear the pages apart with no intention of any collage-making, just for the fun of ripping. It reminded me of when she was a baby and we'd give her old magazines to tear up; she loved it then too! Only now she cleans up after herself, at least sometimes (and she did this time without an argument!).
I experimented with a few things, however, sticking paper on shapes and using all triangles for one and strips for another.
How do you make collages?
